Encore Northenders are an amateur dramatics group based in Batheaston, near Bath. Encore stage two productions each year, generally a mix of musicals, pantomimes, cabarets and plays. They have won awards for the high quality theatrical entertainment they produce.

We have worked closely with the group and its panel for many years now, providing assistance in the run up to show week, in the form of set design, advertising, promotional material and online ticket sales through the group’s website.

Blobble were asked to design, host and maintain a new website for Encore. As the group had never previously had an online presence, we were given total freedom in terms of design specification. The main requirement from the group was to incorporate an online ticket reservation system, with payment integration (PayPal). It was decided that the website’s content would generally remain static all year round, with the exception of events being added and tickets becoming available. Blobble have created a website that Encore are extremely proud of, so much so that the website address now appears on all publicity material, advertising and communications. Online ticket sales have taken off since the website was launched.

Additionally, Blobble regularly design and produce large format outdoor advertisement banners, for each Encore production. These banners promote the performances throughout the local area, advertising the website and providing booking information.
